Fixed term, full-time position for 12 monthsAdministrative Officer role supporting Surgery UnitsIt’s the people who make the difference at Dental Health Services Victoria (DHSV).About the role:We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrative Officer for a position within the Surgery Units.This is a great opportunity to further develop your support skills and experience within fast paced and friendly teams.Your responsibilities will include:Liaise with all levels of management, staff and external stakeholders on behalf of Specialist Services to achieve required outcomes.Assist in completing and distributing patient discharge summaries.Assist in booking patients for the Day Surgery Unit to cover last minute cancellations.As directed, undertake support to a range of projects relating to the delivery of public dental services and support for Specialist Services.Provide administrative support as required for the Specialist Care Units including minute taking for department meetingsTo be successful in this role you will need:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience in an administrative role and office proceduresDemonstrated experience in assisting projectsDemonstrated experience working with diverse stakeholders.Why you should be a part of our team?Our patients come from many different cultures and backgrounds, and treating them is what makes our job so rewarding and challenging.
