The position requires the successful applicant to process brief and correspondence and disseminate it to internal and external customers. Duties will also include management of seized property and management of evidentiary drug testing samples.Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.Your duties will include:Assist Police members in the preparation and distribution of briefs of evidence.Processing incoming and outgoing briefs of evidence and routine correspondence.Manage evidence continuity.Answer telephone calls and redirect them as required.Assist in the preparation of reports required both internally and externally.Recording and archiving records and accountable documents.Working on Victoria Police databases such as station books, PALM, LEAP and Attendance.Other duties as required.As the successful applicant, you will have:The ability to work in a small team environment.The ability to prioritise a busy workload with competing deadlines.Demonstrated experience in performing administration support duties.The ability to work unsupervised.Proven record of ethical behaviour.Requirements and relevant information:This is a part time (0.55FTE) ongoing position.This position is located at State Highway Patrol - North, located at the Epping Police Complex, 785 High Street, Epping.Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.Your application must include:ResumeCompleted application form – the word document (2.
