An exciting and rare permanent opportunity exists for an experienced AO3 Administration Officer with excellent knowledge of One School, Accounts Receivable, Enrolments and Consent Manager, bringing a high level of professionalism to join our office team.
This position works alongside the Leadership Team to contribute to the effective and efficient management and administration of the school whilst supporting the Department of Education's vision of equity and excellence in everything we do.

About Ormeau State SchoolOrmeau State School has been on this site in Mirambeena Drive since 1986.
In this time, the enrolment has grown quite rapidly from one hundred and three children to over 930 in 2019.
The school delivers quality educational programs to all our students.
Our teachers are always happy to discuss your child's progress and we encourage you to meet with your child's teacher from time to time throughout the year.

About The RoleThe successful candidate will need to have exceptional relational skills, be driven to build a positive, welcoming and supportive school culture, and have the capability to support the other team members to meet targets, goals and outcomes each day.
The position will be multifaceted, working across areas including but not limited to:

Enrolments, Accounts Receivable, TRACER and timetabling, Student Services and Visitor Services.
Experience with One School, Finance, Consent Management and E-publisher highly desirable.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you should display the following:

Extensive Accounts Receivable knowledge and understanding processes and policiesThorough knowledge of DoE Enrolment policies and proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organisational skills and high-level customer serviceAbility to work independentlyComfortable multi-tasking and prioritising tasks without guidance and also ability to manage high-pressure environmentsProvide ad-hoc administrative dutiesPerform financial, human resource and administrative operations of the office, including skilled use of Microsoft Office applications, OneSchool, OnePortal, SharePoint and PasstabProvide a comprehensive range of executive and administrative support services including preparation of accurate and timely reports, correspondence and other documents where necessaryOperate autonomously to undertake day-to-day office procedures within well-defined policies and utilise information and management systems to support effective and efficient reporting and administrationBe a dedicated team player that works collaboratively with all team membersAble to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as requiredUndertake routine activities including client services, student services (telephone and counter enquiries); attending to first aid, arranging correspondence and general administration, maintaining school records, and processing emails.
