Your Role and Impact
As a Receptionist at Hunter Valley Mental Health Service, you'll be the welcoming face for clients, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities include managing a busy flow of phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with professionalism and empathy. You'll also maintain organised filing systems, ensuring that records are accurate and confidential, and support various administrative functions such as coordinating meetings and preparing documents. Hunter Valley Mental Health Service is a key part of the Hunter New England Local Health District's Mental Health Network. We provide a comprehensive range of mental health care, from community-based services to a 24-bed acute psychiatric unit at Maitland Hospital. Our reach spans Maitland, Dungog, Cessnock, Singleton, Muswellbrook, and Upper Hunter, allowing us to make a substantial impact on mental health across these areas.

An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part time and temporary part time vacancies.
To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
