The role
ALS Geochemistry is seeking an Administration Officer to support the operations of a fast-paced minerals preparation and analytical laboratory.
 
Based in Kalgoorlie, this is a Full-Time position, and the role's primary function is administration assistance utilising MS Office suite products and the company's Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
 
However, the successful applicant will be required to undertake other duties as required and within their capabilities.

The successful applicant will be required to work Monday to Friday between business hours of 8 am to 5 pm, with some flexibility on start times.
Free parking is also available on-site.
 
Reporting to the Operations Manager duties will include:

Greet and support clients' needs by leveraging phone and email professionally to support client enquiriesAssist the Laboratory team in daily administration tasksFollow up on client invoice queriesData entry and general filing dutiesSupport laboratory team needs, including managing roster and liaising with courier companies (bookings and receiving)End-of-month account reconciliationProvide back-up reception relief, as requiredAssisting with recruitment, including new starter onboarding and paperwork 15th November, 2024 Imagine your future with us

The essentials Good alpha/numeric skillsStrong language skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clientStrong computer skills, and experience with the MS Office suiteStrong attention to detail with a proven ability to collect, interpret and manage data efficiently and accuratelyA proven ability to retain large amounts of information is essentialA hands-on attitude to a variety of tasksCustomer service experience or aptitudeWell presented with a friendly team mannerPronto experience is highly regardedWorking at ALS
