Overview: We are now accepting applications for the Administration Officer casual pool at Riverland General Hospital, Berri.
Our Administration team provides essential, high-quality, confidential, customer-focused administrative services to clients, staff, and visitors at Riverland General Hospital.
Duties include general reception enquiries, referring to the most appropriate person for attention, booking appointments, and general administration tasks.
Working in areas such as the front reception, Theatre and Ward Clerk positions, Medical Records, Outpatients, Patient Revenue and Debt Management, Accounts payable, and Personal Assistant to the Director of Nursing/Midwifery.
Essential Criteria: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively with other administration staff, coders, doctors, specialists, and nursing staff. Strong initiative to ensure timely completion of tasks and/or activities as directed. Effective time management skills to optimize the efficiency of the administration department. Problem-solving abilities that contribute to a spirit of team cooperation and respectful behavior. High level of competency with various computer programs.
