On Tuesday and Thursdays we work together from our office in South Yarra (right next to the station) and other days either from home or office.
About the role The Advocacy and Finance Administrative Officer is a key support role to assist the efficient and effective functioning of both our Advocacy and Health Promotion team and our Finance Manager.
This role is part time (3 days per week).
Key Responsibilities Committees Meetings Work under the direction of the Advocacy Lead to support specific ADAVB Council committees.Ensure approved agenda and meeting papers are published a minimum of one week in advance.Draft minutes within five business days of meetings.Action and track all items for follow up prior to due dates.Organise meeting arrangements in advance, ensuring adherence to budget; an ensuring attendees feel well supported.Victorian Oral Health Alliance Work under the direction of the Advocacy Lead and in collaboration with the VOHA spokesperson to:
Schedule meetings of VOHA members.Make all practical arrangements for meetings.Collate follow-up items from VOHA's external meetings.Send follow up emails to external parties after content is approved by the Advocacy Lead or VOHA Spokesperson.Create and monitor action lists.Advocacy and Health Promotion Support General administrative support for the Advocacy and Evidence team.Establishing and maintain file management systems.Complete mini projects as directed/requested.Finance Administration Work under the direction of the Finance Manager, attending to invoicing of CRM and debtor follow up; data entry and invoicing in MYOB when required.Follow up with credit card receipts for credit card reconciliation.Preparation of simple reports and other ad hoc tasks.Closing date 12 June 2024
