Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who loves having things organised, has excellent communication skills, thrives in a small highly competent team environment, and has high attention to detail. Whilst that statement might seem generic, we mean it. Don't take any of these requirements lightly.
Reporting to the General Manager for Corporate Services but working with our Mackay Depot Operations Manager, you are tasked with ensuring the depot runs smoothly whilst maintaining alignment with Head Office requirements. Your value is to take initiative and be a problem solver by providing administration relief for the Operations Manager. Our industry is dynamic, fast paced, and you need to be on the ball. Whilst this position is administrative, the role requires someone with experience who can think about the bigger picture and be the fusion between clients, Mackay depot, and Head Office. You are being provided with the opportunity to work with the Operations Manager in taking this depot to the next level. You will be privy to reports and budgets to assist you and your Operations Manager in tracking depot performance and planning/strategising for the future.
Duties include:
· Provide a high level of customer service to clients
· Must have great initiative for process improvement and simultaneously be willing to follow current processes
· Accurate maintenance of records for: Clients, Vehicles, Health & Safety, Human Resources (large % of this role)
· Ability to provide our accounts team (located in head office) with accurate job paperwork and driver timesheets on a weekly basis (major performance indicator for this role)
· Attending to phone calls and emails, must have great phone presence
· Manage IT requirements in conjunction with head office
· Travel and event management for Mackay Depot
· General office management: groceries, stationary, office cleanliness, mail
Requirements:
· Must have minimum 10 years office administration experience (retail administration does not count)
· Be presentable and well-mannered
· Enjoy working with a small team
· Want to work with competent and driven colleagues across all depots
· Great time management with an ability to meet strict deadlines on a consistent and repetitive basis
· Communicate effectively face to face and in print
· Be friendly
· Ability to self-motivate. You must be pro-active in your role and provide solutions. However, when the circumstance arises, be just as happy to be re-active and still be solution focused.
Details:
· Hours: 25 hours per week, must be in the office each business day. As the depot grows in revenue so will the hours for this position.
· Rate of pay: $27 per hour
· Immediate start available.
