The Role Our client is seeking an experienced casual Administration Assistant to join their team located in Glendenning.
This role is Monday - Friday 8AM - 4PM OR Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm MAX HOURS PER WEEK 24 - 30 HOURS.
Duties and responsibilities in this role are as follows: Purchase order entry.
Supplier order tracking.
Container tracking.
Direct shipment & stock order entry.
Direct shipment documentation and payment tracking.
3PL communication & Arranging deliveries.
FSC & PEFC checks.
Article activation and PSD database updates.
Maintaining plywood spreadsheet.
Compiling shipping documents.
Digital filing.
Due diligence documentation Updating supplier pricing.
General customer service duties Key Competencies MS Windows MS Office.
Database Management.
Strong IT skills and understanding.
Customer service skills.
Works accurately and independently.
Multi-tasking.
Background: The role will suit a person who is mature minded, pragmatic and can handle multiple tasks with accuracy and independce.
The role requires a person who has worked in a similar position of Logistics Coordinator and understands work flows, working with logistics companies, document flows and understands the need to be proactive and thinking ahead.
Also a strong customer service background over the phone, so must have good phone manner.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 1-2 years' experience that can work reasonably autonomously and with minimal supervision, and be able to work accurately and proficiently.
The ideal candidate needs to be able to work to deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
