Details of the offer

Brisbane QLD $72,459 - $76,232 a year As the Administration Assistant you are
responsible for providing high-level
administrative support to two of the Associate
Directors within the Human Resources
Department, as well as providing general
support to the office of the Executive Director,
Human Resources.
The position will contribute to the overall vision
and activities of the department and Human
Resources team by providing meeting support
including arranging, scheduling and minute
taking, drafting correspondence, arranging
travel, event coordination, and processing
financial transactions.

The Administration Assistant reports directly
to the Personal Assistant for Executive
Director, Human Resources for supervision,
workload management and for Performance
Planning and Review (PPR).

Key responsibilities include:
Provide a high standard of administrative
and secretarial support to the Associate
Directors, including but not limited to
appointment scheduling, electronic mail
and diary management, photocopying,
sorting mail, etc.
Provide support to the Personal Assistant
where required.
Develop and maintain excellent working
relationships with internal and external
clients.
Process financial transactions including
corporate card acquittals.
Effectively manage the stationery
requirements of the Department.
Comply with health and safety policies,
procedures, hazard reporting and safe work
practices.

Type of appointment
This appointment will be offered on an
ongoing, full-time basis.

Location
Kelvin Grove campus.
Selection Criteria
1. Education, training and/or relevant
experience equivalent to an associate
diploma level qualification in conjunction
with relevant work experience.
2. Demonstrated ability to connect and
collaborate with a diverse range of people
at all levels in a professional manner while
maintaining a high level of client service
and confidentiality.
3. Proficiency with digital technologies
relevant to the position including MS Office
Suite.
4. Demonstrated ability to work in a team
environment with minimal supervision.
5. Ability to successfully adapt to changing
situation and environment, while
maintaining a calm and professional
demeanour.
Remuneration and Benefits
The classification for this position is Higher
Education Worker Level 4 (HEW4) which has
an annual remuneration range of $72,459 to
$76,232 pa. Which is inclusive of an annual
salary range of $61,229 to $64,417 pa, 17%
superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave
loading.
