Administration Officer - Interventional Radiology - Department of Neurology

  About the role: 
John Hunter Hospital is seeking a dependable and motivated Administration Officer to work in Interventional Radiology - Department of Neurology. You will provide admin support to two doctors and two nurses in the interventional radiology role along with five other admin staff. Key accountabilities include: Provide consistent, high quality customer service as a person of first contact including, telephone, email enquiries and personal contact with clients, prepare reports, maintain records, coordinating correspondence, support data entry, recruitment, payroll, invoices and more. 

During orientation handover will be undertaken and you will receive mandatory training via HNELHD My Health Learning and training in relevant programs to support your development.

Where you'll be working: 
This role will see you working in Interventional Radiology - Department of Neurology at John Hunter Hospital. The Neurology Department provides inpatient and outpatient care, that includes both diagnosis and treatment of disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. Common conditions include:
Stroke, Epilepsy, Motor Neuron Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. 
About you:  
The successful candidate will be motivated and have relevant administrative qualifications andor relevant experience. You will be a team player with strong customer service skills and communication skills to work cooperatively within and across diverse work teams to support effective coordination of work and interpret clientcustomer needs. You will be problem solver with the ability to plan, prioritise and organise own work taking into account the impact on others to achieve results to meet deadlines. You will also have well developed computer skills to use a wide range of computer systems.
