BDS Mechanical is a growing business that offers mechanical, auto electrical and welding repairs both in house and onsite with 3 fixed workshop locations.

The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate the effective and efficient delivery of financial record keeping and includes but is not limited to Payroll, Receivables and Payables, record keeping of client job cards and MYOB file maintenance. The successful candidate would be working closely with the workshop manager, accounts manager and parts interpreter.

As an indication the role would consist of:
Processing weekly payroll
Assisting in the preparation of quotes, sales orders, invoices and statements
MYOB data entry/reconciliations
Management of accounts receivable collection
Processing and receipting payments
Maintaining accounts receivable and payable files and records
Assisting with queries from internal and external stakeholders
Assisting with administrative tasks and other ad hoc duties as required

Key aspects of the role that are required by the successful person would include:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience with MYOB accounting software
Ability to maintain confidentiality both internal and external to organisation
High attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
Enjoys challenging environments and can meet tight deadlines
An ability to work independently and as part of a team
Follow direction
