Accreditation SpecialistThe National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA) is Australia's national accreditation body. We provide independent assurance of the technical competence and integrity of organisations for clients who require confidence in the delivery of their products and services.We are seeking to appoint a full-time Accreditation Specialist in our Brisbane office. You will be initially trained in the assessment of laboratories within our Materials, Assets and Products sector, covering areas such as construction materials testing, with the future expectation of being upskilled in other areas.About the roleOrganise, lead and conduct assessments of laboratories against criteria based on ISO/IEC 17025Conduct assessments at client facilities with the support of technical expertsPrepare technical reports and follow-up matters arising from assessmentsManage client and stakeholder relationshipsRespond to existing and new client enquiriesDevelop a strong understanding of accreditation criteriaProvide advice to technical experts, clients and the public on NATA's policies and technical requirementsIntrastate and interstate travel is requiredSkills and experienceTertiary qualification in a scientific, engineering or related discipline with relevant professional experienceKnowledge of management system principles and quality assurance activitiesProven ability to effectively plan, and deliver on allocated activitiesDemonstrated experience in client management and building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersTeam player capable of collaborating with others, using effective interpersonal and communication skillsIntermediate skills in software applications, databases and a willingness to learn new systemsWillingness to expand skill sets and competencies to meet the needs of the businessPrevious auditing experience would be highly desirable, although training will be providedSalary and ConditionsThe salary on commencement is equivalent to a total remuneration package of $124,017 per annum (inclusive of superannuation).
