Apex Radiology is one of the leading providers of diagnostic imaging services in Western Australia and is part of the Integral Diagnostics Group, providing comprehensive Radiology and Tele-radiology services to private medical facilities, public hospitals, WACHS (Western Australia Country Health Service) and stand-alone medical imaging practices across Western Australia.
We have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Medical Billing Finance team in a part time role based at our Head Office in Mandurah and offering immediate start if available.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities About the Role
Your new role will include an exciting mix of finance duties such as processing and issuing invoices and statements, following up with debtors including organisations, Medicare, Health Funds and unpaid patient accounts. You will be responsible for
• Complex billing for hospital sites
• Invoicing and Debt recovery
• Workers Compensation claims, invoicing and rejections
• Processing third party rejections
• Site support for billing queries
• Liaise with external stakeholders; including customer service queries

This is a part time role working between 9am - 5pm, flexible working days.
About You
You will be required to have a minimum of 2 year's previous experience in an Accounts Receivable role with a high level of accuracy and demonstrated skills with MS Excel. You will need to meet the following:
• Sound understanding of both the receivable and debt recovery
• Analytical mindset to be a natural problem solver
• Debtor recovery experience or willingness to learn
• Experience with Private Health Fund claiming/Eclipse
• Demonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
• Exceptional communication skills and confidence in your abilities.
• Commitment to data accuracy with high quality expectations
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
Experience in Radiology or Health Industry and knowledge of Medicare billing & MBS would be desirable but not essential. This is your opportunity to move away from the front desk and be part of the professional corporate services finance/medical billing team.
