The Company

With one of the largest distribution networks in Queensland, our client operates a leading independent warehousing and distribution business servicing the busy residential and commercial construction industries. Based in Brisbane's Southwestern suburbs, they are specialists in their field and have been experiencing sustainable year on year growth, with forecast future growth. With big plans on the horizon, they are expanding their finance team to tackle these projects and ensure they are fit for future.

As a result of internal mobility, we are working exclusively with our client to recruit an experience Accounts Receivable Officer. They are seeking someone who has a natural flare for customer service, someone who is collaborative with peers and a keen interest to take on an end to end AR role. 

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for processing financial data, matching payments, generating invoices and statements, assessing trade credit applications and undertake debt collection, performing accounts reconciliations and maintain accounts receivable files and records. 
Assessing Trade Credit applications Establishing new accounts and onboarding new customers Being the first point of contact for all customer account enquiries Processing all debtor receipts including the daily banking Reconciling debtor accounts and resolving disputes Customer service and debtor enquiries Debt collection Processing credit notes and calculating rebates Issuing monthly statements Backup support for Accounts payable, payroll and front of office positions Other duties as required The Person
Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable Previous experience in debt collection (desirable) Proficient IT skills, including Excel (must) Great customer relationship management skills Building industry experience (desirable) Exceptional attention to detail Ability to prioritise Ability to work to a high level of accuracy Apply Now
