About the Role

Utilise your attention to detail, problem solving ability and time management skills in this newly created Accounts Receivable Officer role. Reporting directly to the Chief Shared Services Officer, you will work closely with the Accountant and Credit Manager to provide support with accounts receivable responsibilities, daily bank reconciliations and other duties to support the Shared Services team as required. As a newly created position, this role has the potential to grow and evolve, taking on more responsibilities to support the Accountant over time.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with processing accounts receivable data, daily reconciliations and other overflow duties as required
Process high volume data entry for claims, charge backs and other schemes
Perform credit assessments and customer creation processes
Process daily bank reconciliations
Investigate on-hold orders and manage through to resolution
Other overflow duties to assist the accountant or credit manager as required
Skills & Experience required

End to end accounts receivable experience is a must, along with experience performing bank reconciliations and ideally end of month activities as you will be providing additional support to the Accountant
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar ERP is favourable
Strong problem solving ability and a sense of curiosity
Exceptional attention to detail is required, as you will be dealing with complex, high value financial transactions
High quality interpersonal skills, as you will be a key point of customer and supplier contact for the business
