Accounts Receivable Officer About the role We are currently recruiting for an energetic and enthusiastic self-starter to join our team as Accounts Receivable Officer. The primary focus is to ensure that our account customers operate within the credit parameters they have agreed to. Our accounting program is EXO.
Main tasks include: Providing a high level of customer service at all times to all relevant parties Processing daily customer payments and matching to customer invoices Contacting customers regarding overdue payments Reconciling customer accounts and providing commentary when required Providing courteous and timely responses to customer enquiries Proactively investigating and resolving any disputes/queries in a timely and effective manner Liaising with other team members/departments regarding customer queries and complaints Storing information in accordance with company guidelines Providing support and reporting to senior management as required Maintaining confidentiality at all times Other ad hoc operational processes as directed Essential Criteria: Demonstrated understanding of accounts receivable functions The ability to work autonomously and efficiently, as well as part of a larger team Well-developed communication and conflict resolution skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering information Well-developed time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines Ability to prioritise tasks, seek guidance when required, but work with minimal supervision Excellent computer literacy skills Business-specific training will be provided, but previous experience in a similar role is essential.
