Harmony is the largest gold producer by volume in South Africa and is a significant operator of gold tailings retreatment facilities. In Papua New Guinea, Harmony owns and operates the Hidden Valley mine and owns 50% of the Tier 1 Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project. Harmony recently acquired 100% of the Eva Copper project, a near-term copper project in Queensland, Australia. These assets are supported by the Harmony Australasia regional corporate office located in Milton, Brisbane.
Reporting to the Accounts Team Leader, the Accounts Payable Officer will provide support to all internal stakeholders while performing the end to end accounts payable function.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Managing a high-volume of data entry of invoices in AUD & foreign currencies. Weekly and Bi-Monthly preparation of payments and remittances. Electronically managing and filing invoices. Liaising with supply in relation to order discrepancies. Monthly reporting & reconciliations. About You :
To succeed in this role, you should be self-motivated and able to work efficiently and collaboratively with:
3 years of relevant accounts payable experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced Microsoft Office Skills Ability to use computerized accounting systems; Pronto & Redmap experience is desirable. What are the benefits of working for Harmony?
