Accounts Payable / Administration Support Officer

New opportunities have become available for an experienced and hardworking Accounts Payable / Administration Support officer in Mount Isa.
Providing a wide variety of support, you will undertake a range of operational activities associated with Accounts Payable / Administration duties.
Based in Mount Isa, this is a residential, Monday-to- Friday (Part-time or Full-time) position.
Flexible working hours can be discussed.
Experience and skills: Experience in a similar position would be beneficial.
Be efficient with time management, multitasking, and working to deadlines.
Intermediate computer skills Ability to adapt and problem solve Sound verbal and written communication skills Current drivers licence Main duties will include (but are not limited to): Be the friendly face that greets and welcomes visitors with a smile.
Answering telephone enquiries and ensuring our services are clearly communicated Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Verify and reconcile discrepancies in invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.
Liaising with suppliers for overdue invoices or any invoice discrepancies Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of internal expense claims Monitor the Accounts Payable inbox and answer queries Ensuring vendor statement reconciliation is performed for allocated suppliers and resolve any issues in a timely manner Maintaining accounts payable records by filing documents electronically General Administration support Benefits Career progression Day and hours can be flexible to work around your schedule.
