Accounts Officer

Expressions of interest are sought from qualified and motivated individuals to undertake the role of Accounts Officer based in Mascot.
The position is casual, with the opportunity to convert to full-time permanent.
Position Responsibilities: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and other tasks within the Finance departmentMonthly bank reconciliationsCredit card reconciliationsResponding to queries from creditors as they ariseFixed asset register maintenanceAssists in preparation of monthly Business Activity Statements (BAS)General filing, scanning and other administrative dutiesSelection Criteria: Relevant tertiary degree in Finance or AccountingGood understanding and knowledge in accountingComputer literacy with Microsoft suite, in particular ExcelAbility to work accurately with high volume of data to meet deadlinesConditions: Wage rates and conditions will be discussed with the successful applicant.
