The Role We have a vacancy in our Accounting Team for a capable Accounts Officer to join our team. Working school hours from our Burradoo office and your home office, the successful candidate will:
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions; Prepare and reconcile the end of month accounts for each company; Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions; Undertake the accounts payable and receivable functions including the processing of invoices due for payment and allocation of payments; Upload payment receipt information to our matter management system, ensuring client accounts are up-to-date; Prepare accounts and payroll payment runs for approval; Action late payment notifications to clients; Prepare BAS statements for review; Payroll processing for fortnightly and monthly paid staff. About you Candidates will be experienced in accounts administration and motivated to support our team and clients. You will bring to the role:
Extensive experience across a wide range of general accounting functions; Strong level of accuracy & attention to detail; Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to be accountable for workload; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Sound time management and prioritisation skills; Proficiency in Office 365; Xero; DEXT (or similar); Chaser (or similar); Employment Hero.
