Full-time position is available for an Accounts Clerk in Cairns, 4870.
SKILLS The role requires you to hold a relevant Certificate III and have at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES The Accounts Clerk will be responsible for a variety of tasks involving the monitoring and maintenance of relevant creditor and debtor accounts.
This must be completed in a timely manner while also ensuring all financial data is managed and stored accordingly and in compliance with the companies' policies and procedures.
POSITION DUTIES You will need to undertake the following duties:
Undertake the accounts payable and receivable and ensuring all related documentation is prepared, processed and stored correctly.Reconcile all business invoices and ensure payments are dispatched and received in a timely and accurate manner.Complete research and analyse any additional expenditures irregular or regular such as wages or standard costs.Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate and report any discrepancies.Collate and summarise expenditures and receipts.Maintain budget accounts and where necessary allocate all relevant expenditure to these.Create and update records relating to standard costs and value items such as materials and resources.Record cost and contract prices and identify when these have changed.Compile all relevant data to refer to in relevant operating budgets and profit and loss calculations.Compile data into reports of total costs, inventory adjustments and prices and profit.SALARY The salary offered will be $65,000 - $75,000 per annum based on experience.
