We have a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional and experienced Accounts Clerk to join our expanding Finance team. This is a newly created role.
The Accounts Clerk will be an integral part of the team, providing day-to-day support across all aspects and areas of the Finance team, while also collaborating with various departments, vendors, and stakeholders to meet Scenic World's needs.
Key Duties Include: Accounts data entry (bookkeeping) into Netsuite and Excel Supporting the Finance team in their day-to-day tasks, including providing coverage when a team member is on annual leave or sick leave Liaising with debtors (including tour companies) and creditors in relation to payables and receivables Counting, entering, and reconciling takings, collating, and checking credit card payment slips Communicating with internal stakeholders across the business regarding any cash/account errors Expediting urgent payments through the system General filing and housekeeping To be successful in this role, you will possess and demonstrate: Experience in a similar finance and/or accountancy environment Relevant training or qualifications in an accountancy-related discipline Experience or proven ability to use computerized accounting programs effectively and constructively Experience using Netsuite is advantageous Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team Demonstrated experience in dealing with sensitive information, with the ability to remain confidential at all times Advanced skills across the Microsoft suite Ability to adapt and acquire skills quickly Previous experience within the Tourism industry would also be advantageous We'd love to hear from people who have proven experience within a Finance/Accounting role, who are excited about working within a fun, dynamic, and professional Finance team within our beautiful Blue Mountains.
