Accounts Assistant - Panthers Foundation & Community Part Time - (8 Hours Per Week Across 1-2 Days)

We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised Accounts Assistant to join our growing Foundation and Community Team!
Panthers Group is one of Australia's leading entertainment and leisure providers with 5 Clubs across NSW, Premiership Winning Penrith Panthers and 5 star hotel and 1000 seat Conference Centre. We are a proud community organisation and are well regarded for providing a pleasurable and entertaining experience for our members and visitors.
Your Main Duties and Responsibilities will include: Attend and support Foundation & Community events from a finance perspective as required; Keep track and process accounts and incoming/outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures; Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording Bank Transactions. Reconcile the Bank Accounts for Multiple entities and ledgers Balance sheet reconciliations Process Banking statements into GL; Prepare cash flow documentation Credit card reconciliations (and processing). Processing of daily sales loads into the financial system in a timely manner Back up AR /AP team (full function including preparation of payments) Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits; Collaborate with finance team to facilitate month end & year end close. Maintenance of Fixed Asset register Process other Transactional Data as required and; Other adhoc tasks as required. To be successful in this role you will have: 1-2+ years previous relevant experience in an accounts clerk role, Certificate 4 or Diploma of accounting and/or completed 1-2 years minimum of an accounting qualification with a view to complete while working; The ability to multi- task and prioritise whilst building positive internal and external relationships; Problem solving skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; MYOB accounting software or equivalent - preffered Intermediate computer skills and thorough administration practices;Microsoft Dynamics - preferred Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook - Intermediate  High Attention to detail and; Ability to work automatously and in a team You will have the initiative to work independently and also enjoy the support of a friendly team. This role is 8 hours per week as one full day or two split days. Hours may increase pending business demands.
