Located under the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, our five-star hotel boasts 189 premium rooms and suites, offering a truly luxurious experience on the vibrant heritage waterfront pier.Pier One Sydney Harbour is not just a workplace; it's a place where you can showcase your talents and make a real impact on our guests' experience.We work every day to elevate our associate's experience.Some of your Key Responsibilities:Supports the day-to-day execution of general ledger impacted processes, including support to clients as they work with and understand these processes.Performs accounting functions specifically in the areas of account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting and discrepancy resolution.Provide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures, and efficient control and utilization of financial resources.Balances credit card ledgers.Verifies contracts for groups and performs credit reference checks for direct billed groups if necessary.Demonstrates knowledge of return check procedures.Demonstrate knowledge of the Gross Revenue Report.What we value for this role:4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting, Business or related major2 years of experience in a similar roleDemonstrated skills in adaptability, communication, problem solving and decision making and driven for results.You'll think outside the box and have an open-minded personality.Marriott is committed to providing a recruitment process that is fair, equitable and accessible for all.
