Strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite and accounting software Strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly communicate financial information The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment Strong understanding of Finance systems and processes Positive, friendly, and proactive attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organised and attention to detail Willing to challenge the status quo, innovate, and look for smarter ways of doing things About the Job:
Assist with revenue and cashflow forecasting Assist with month end accruals, reconciliations, and financial close activities Support budgeting and variance reporting processes Assist with Payroll function and Payroll tax filings Maintain the Fixed Asset Register Participate in the Year-end audit process and ensure compliance with statutory requirements Prepare and lodge statutory obligations (BAS, GST, FBT) Assist with financial statement preparation for internal and external stakeholders Perform general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and financial analysis Contribute to the preparation of reports and analysis for business decisions and financial planning Drive continuous improvement across accounting processes With company values built around trust, commitment and loyalty to our people and our clients, Energy Logistix offers a great team environment, with a strong support base and the opportunity for career advancement.
Prerequisites
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, or Business (major in Accounting) Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial or professional accounting roles Knowledge of current Australian accounting standards Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
