You'll be technically experienced with BAS, FBT, Tax etc., and bring improvement ideas to the table. Based in a busy depot, your regular duties will include:Full Accountant responsibilities, in a hands-on daily mannerSupporting the business during an extensive transition to MYOBThe timely and accurate completion of Operations Financial and Statutory requirements including Payroll, Superannuation, Taxes and BASOverseeing and undertaking book-keeping processes including multiple General LedgersReconciling AP/AR itemsRunning payroll for the operationManaging data files including Account Reconciliation, Cash Flow Reports, Forecasting and BudgetsOverseeing and participating in the Invoicing of major customers, Reconciliation, AP/AR, preparing ABA and loading to bankProviding financial recommendations and support regarding asset acquisition and disposalsProviding financial insights to the SLT that help in the decision-making process that align capital and resources across the businessWorking collaboratively with all departments during tenders and proposalsAnalysing operational and financial business activities and understanding critical cost drivers including statistical data and route improvementsOther DetailsThe position is Full-time permanent, 8.30 - 5pm Monday- Friday. The salary guide is $85K + Super + Laptop, commensurate with skills and qualifications.
