A fantastic opportunity has presented for an experienced Accountant to contribute to the overall functions of the Financial Services team, providing expertise and support as required.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accountant is responsible for the provision of effective accounting, reporting and analytical services to support the organisation's activities.
Key responsibilities include: Prepare statutory financial statements and support documentation. Preparation and reporting of project budgets, particularly in construction development projects. Project and business unit analysis providing advice on budget variances and financial indicators. Lead financial modelling for planning and assessment of current and future operations. Effective communication of financial information to key stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making. Coordinate regulatory reporting and adherence to accounting policies. Manage taxation and corporate matters. Support end-of-month reconciliation processes to ensure deadlines are met. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of transactions, including payroll and supplier payments. Liaise with external auditors and regulators to ensure compliance. Contribute to creating a value-add culture within the Finance Team. Experience & Qualifications: CA/CPA qualified or equivalent. Process improvement focus. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Proficiency in financial software and report analysis. Understanding of accounting standards and legislation. Excellent communication skills. Capacity to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Financial acumen with a focus on social impact. What we offer: A full-time permanent role.
