About your new role
The Account Manager's responsibility is to focus on target markets and identify opportunities to deliver further value to our customers by offering solutions via our extended services such as fabrication, training, and field engineering support. After comprehensive training, you will be working in a solid and supportive team environment and be responsible for strategic planning, opportunity development, local and global distributor communication, pre- and post-order project management, and providing solution packages.
With an established customer base, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to your customers while growing both sales revenue and gross margin. Your ability to identify and convert new business opportunities whilst building strong and effective working relationships will be integral to your success.
What will make you successful in this role
Ability to instigate and maintain exceptional internal and external relationships that meet with company core values. Demonstrated experience in solution-based sales and an understanding of the sales process. Proven experience delivering to KPI's and sales targets within a relevant industry. Proven ability to understand technical concepts and to take learning new ideas/concepts in their stride. Comfortable conducting basic and intermediate education sessions (lunch and learns) to assigned customers – face to face and virtually. Ability to travel within Western Australia (including regional) and short trips interstate on occasion. Sales experience in the industrial sector environment particularly in Mining, Oil & Gas, or Chemical/Refining would be preferred. Strong demonstrated technical knowledge, ideally with a trade or tertiary qualification highly regarded. What's in it for you?
