Our team in Melbourne currently has an opening for a Account Manager (Food & Nutrition) YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for managing aportfolio of customers, improving and developing existing customerrelationships as well as identifying and actively seeking new product and salesgrowth opportunities
Manage existing customers and develop new customer relationshipsManage existing and establish new product and market opportunitiesdriving business growth and market shareAchieve sales targets by proactively leveraging all communicationchannels including digital channels and face to face interactions for arange of allocated productsIncrease GP and product portfolio by initiating opportunities todrive cross-selling / range-sell / value-based pricingIdentify high potential accounts and determine strategies forconverting prospectsFollowing sales protocols and procedures, generate new leads andimprove/increase conversion rates and sales interactionsUtilising call planning, pipeline management, lead identificationand qualification, undertake proactive sales calling and performancemonitoring to drive sales and achieve set targetsRaise customer awareness by assisting in determining the rightproducts for the customer's needs as well as raising customer awareness ofproduct options/ opportunitiesUndertake joint visits with Managers and Principals as requiredLiaise with relevant internal stakeholders to determine the bestsolution for the customer and extracting maximum value (e.g., Sales Team,Product Management, Customer Service, Supply Chain)Submit accurate forecasts and forecast updates as requested on atimely basis, managing effective pricing strategies to include, but notlimited to: Contracts, Pricing Agreements, Renewals, negotiations, andimplementationsPrepare and calculate accurate costings for materialsPrepare and offer quotations to customersYOUR PROFILETertiary qualified in an industry related discipline(science/chemistry)5 + years B2B sales experience in a Food/Raw Ingredients relatedcommercial/sales roleTechnically sound in Food & Nutrition discipline with theability to demonstrate and communicate the value proposition ofnutrition/raw ingredient productsExperience in distribution, chemical, food science or other similarindustry desirable but not essentialOUR OFFEROur culture is driven by our valuesof Care, Trust, Clarity, Excellence and Safety.
