As the #1 low-code application development platform, OutSystems provides customers with everything they need to build apps incredibly fast. We are looking for a Account Executive to focus on the Small Medium Business (SMB) space of South Australia.
As an Account Executive, you will be on the front line of sales, contributing to the success of the company while developing and improving your own sales and people skills in an open and friendly environment. You will work as part of a team with both field sales and solution architects (pre-sales) but carry your own monthly quota.
What You Will Lead/Do or Key Responsibilities: Responsible for understanding OutSystems offer and competitive issues.Hunting for new business and logos within the SMB space.Be the main point of contact for OutSystems customers, leading the sales strategy, overcoming objections and negotiating success.Push upgrades with growth plans.Map prospective accounts around organizational structure, people and existing technology.Engage executives in targeted prospect accounts.Orchestrate discussions with senior execs around their business needs.Demonstrate how prospect customers can capture value and envision their future with OutSystems through verbal, written, and live product demos.Provide technical product overview and insights pertinent to customer need and usage scenarios.Meet and exceed targets: effectively manage opportunities and pipeline through the sales cycle.Leverage social, digital, video, chat, phone and demonstration environments to effectively reach, sell to and manage OutSystems prospect customers.Qualifications / What You Need To Succeed: Minimum of 2 years of quota carrying experience selling into SMB space.Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.Recognizing the stages in the buying cycle for each prospect.Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral, written and verbal communications skills.Ability to successfully communicate with contacts via phone, email, video and presentations.Desire to work in a competitive environment where one's growth potential is driven by one's abilities and attitude.General knowledge of the IT industry, with the capacity to learn and retain knowledge about individual products and business solutions quickly and accurately.Achievement and success-driven personality, motivated by performance rewards for exceeding annual sales goals.Solid time management skills and ability to work independently or under supervision with a high level of integrity.Understanding of and passion for the technology industry - background of prospecting to IT decision makers required.Way To Stand Out From The Crowd: A desire to do and achieve brilliant things.Authentically curious, who love learning and improving yourself.Flexible and creative.Naturally entrepreneurial.Passion for sales and building customer relationships.Working at OutSystems: We do not have many rules, but we do have high standards and a culture of global collaboration.
