The Role

As an Account Executive, Buyside in the financial markets team you will be the key contact for clients, developing their knowledge and use of the IRESS portfolio product suite, while enhancing their relationship with the company. In addition, you will be expected to effectively impart your knowledge and add value to our clients.

You will be positioned as the person who represents IRESS but can access a range of business and IT specialists including consultants, product specialists and senior management at IRESS to deliver the required solution and/or level of service to the client.

What you will be doing

On a day to day basis your role will involve:
Developing and maintaining a professional relationship with IRESS clients who use specialist products from the IRESS portfolio product suite.
Understanding our software, system architecture and methods of delivery that are regularly updated
Establishing, maintaining and actively working relationships within designated clients (this includes but is not limited to business owners, IT, implementation and project staff)
effectively demonstrate IRESS portfolio products
Obtain a thorough understanding of individual clients’ operations and how IRESS products are integrated on a detailed level
Training users on client specific IRESS products
Assist clients to ensure full utilisation of IRESS Products
Coordinate and manage various projects in a timely manner
Identify areas of opportunity for upselling and cross selling of our products

What you will need

The ideal candidate will have:
Strong numeric and analytical skills, logical in context of problem solving
A professional manner when dealing with clients underpinned with a strong service ethos
Ability to work autonomously, yet still be a constructive and proactive team member
Willingness to share ideas and knowledge
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Possess well developed written and verbal communication skills
Assume responsibility; take personal ownership of work
Be adaptable and able to adjust, review work and projects in response to changing conditions
Recognise and meet continually shifting priorities
