Reporting to the NDIS Support Services Manager, the Accommodation Manager will provide strong leadership and continuously improve Glenray's Accommodation Services for people living with disability. Specifically, the role will be responsible for the leadership of a team of staff across a portfolio of accommodation sites in Bathurst and Lithgow.This role will be responsible for ensuring participants' needs are being met alongside ensuring support workers are upholding their duties in a prompt and professional manner.Key Responsibilities in this role may include:Lead, support and manage Team Leaders and develop an empowering culture among staff that is open to change and supports continuous quality improvement, collaboration, respect and accountability.Oversee the delivery of high-quality integrated services that meet the needs of residents, their carers and families, while meeting safety requirements.Work collaboratively with the Intake team to ensure compatibility with current residents. Facilitate a smooth transition for new participants including the development and review of transition plans, planning and coordinating required supports and training.Conduct regular reviews of SIL quotes, roster of care and staff rosters to ensure accuracy and compliance with funding guidelines.Regularly seek and report on feedback from participants, families, guardians and nominees.Ensure the daily operations of each home to ensure individual plans, goals and outcomes are achieved using person-centred practices.Inspire and motivate teams to go above and beyond in supporting residents to live fulfilling, independent lives.Support people in achieving their dreams and help them to live the life they choose.Take responsibility for incident/complaints management and reporting for homes ensuring compliance with National Disability Service Standards, NDIS and NDIS plan.Demonstrate commitment to & understanding of person-centred practices.Respectfully and professionally communicate and engage with residents, families, carers and staff.Are You Our Ideal Candidate?At least 5 years of experience leading frontline workers and managing team dynamicsRelevant qualifications (Certificate IV, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Social Work/Community Services)Strong skills in behaviour management, crisis intervention, rostering and staff managementRestrictive Practice knowledge and training are highly desirableExperience in managing a budget, knowledge of ROC and NDIS fundingWorking knowledge of the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission, specifically the framework principles, Practice Standards and Code of ConductWorking knowledge of risk managementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience in the use of Windows package including Excel and WordA current Drivers LicenceNote: Our commitment to safety extends to vaccinations and relevant certifications.
