Call for Academic Promotion and Information Sessions - Levels C, D and E 2019
It is important that applicantsread the updated Academic Promotion Policy and Procedure (and other support material provided)prior to beginning their application for promotion. Documents include:
Academic Promotion for Levels C, D and E (Higher Education) Policy and Procedure.
Criteria Framework
The Teaching Expectations for Academic Staff may also provide guidance to applicants in preparing the Learning and Teaching Area of Achievement.
Applicants are also encouraged to read the Transforming Lives and Enhancing Communities Strategic Plan 2018 - 2022.
It is the responsibility of the applicant to provide adequate information and evidence to demonstrate to the relevant University Promotion Committee that they meet the criteria, defining merit for promotion to the level to which they are applying.

Applicants must provide a copy of their application, normally four weeks prior to the closing date, to their Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Executive Dean or Director as per the Procedure to enable them to provide a written evaluation.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
Supporting documentsshould be saved on a USB, placed in an envelope marked with the applicant’s name, and sent to Human Resources by the closing date.

Successful promotions will take effect 1 January 2020.
