Academic Engagement and Partnerships (EQuIPT Program) Who are we looking for? We are seeking an Academic Engagement and Partnerships (EQuIPT Program) to join the School of Teacher Education and Leadership, Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice.
QUT's Employing Queensland: Innovative Pathways to Teaching (EQuIPT) program addresses critical teaching shortages in Rural, Regional and Remote (RRR) Queensland schools through employment-based pathways. The program aims to stabilise the RRR teacher workforce, enhance regional economic growth, and broaden the recruitment of diverse candidates.

What you need to succeed A Doctorate (or nearing completion). A proven or developing track record of research and impact of research in the field of initial teacher education, including peer-reviewed publications and successful grant activity. Quantitative research skills are preferred. Proven theoretical and practical knowledge for supporting pre-service and beginning teachers. Demonstrated experience in collaborating with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated understanding of teachers' classroom practices and the interrelationship with learning, curriculum and pedagogy in practice. Proven ability to coordinate and support students' access to student services and wellbeing initiatives and academic supports.
