To support our ongoing growth, NEPEAN Conveyors NSW are currently seeking a Mechanical 3D Designer to join our team.
This position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in our site service team at Unanderra, NSW.
Responsibilities : Creating Technical Drawings at all levels i.e., Layouts, Arrangements, Assemblies, and Details3D modelling and detailing using input from engineers and senior designers in the team.Determine factors like tolerances, dimensioning, weldability, and ease of assembly.Create designs in line with company procedures, regulations, and client standards.Assist with field and manufacturing problems.Site Services and Engineering functions such as design reviews, risk assessments, and execution activities.About you : Tertiary qualifications in a related disciplineDemonstrated proficiency in 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor, Autocad, Professional Vault, Navisworks).5+ years' experience in a design role or related experience.Bulk Material Handling or Heavy Industrial / Mining Industry experienceWorking knowledge of the appropriate Australian standards such as AS4024, AS1100, AS1654 and AS1657.Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExceptional written and verbal communication skills.Full Drivers LicenceWhy NEPEAN?
