Casual Opportunities – School of Chemical Engineering The Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology (SET) is a thriving centre of learning, teaching and research in a vast range of engineering and science schools and disciplines. The teaching and research programs within the School of Chemical Engineering educate chemical engineers to play leading roles in the chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical, environmental, food and beverage technology, energy and combustion and advanced materials industries. Dedicated to achieving excellence in research, teaching and knowledge transfer, the school offers a stimulating and intellectual environment in which to work.
We are seeking dedicated and passionate casual staff to assist with the delivery of our Semester 1 undergraduate and postgraduate courses, semester commencing Monday 3 March 2025. Application Process: Please view the available courses through the application form to determine what area of work offerings are being made available for individual courses (i.e., other academic activity, marking, etc.).Ensure you meet the essential criteria:Conferral of an undergraduate degree in a relevant fieldGood technical knowledge of the key teaching components of the courses you are applying forExcellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain technical information to studentsAvailable and flexible to meet the minimum hourly/sessional requirements for the courseAble to work collegially to support excellent teaching within the SchoolAre an Australian citizen or possess an eligible Australian working visa**Please note: Prospective employees are required to provide evidence of their Australian citizenship or working rights.
