Our twelve-month, full time Industry Based Learning Program provides undergraduates with practical ‘hands-on’ work experience that will set you apart from your peers. You will be a part of a program designed to give you real work experience and optimise your professional development for future opportunities.

This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to all facets of Human Resources across all areas of our business. Working in the HR Response Centre, your responsibilities will include providing advice and guidance to employees and managers, general HR administration and interesting project work. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining HR documentation and webpage, co-ordination of HR information sessions and benefit programs with 3rd party suppliers. You will assist with HR Communications and promotion of employee benefits, preparation of HR reports and data analysis as well as support the HR Teams with the New Starter Induction Program, Reward and Recognition Program and Merit Review processes as required.

Applications for the program open on Friday 5th July and close on Monday 5th August. Our recruitment process involves eligibility questionnaire at application, World of GSK online assessment, video interview and assessment centre. This process takes place over the course of around 8 weeks, updates will be regularly communicated across email.

Basic qualifications:
You must be in your penultimate or final year of your undergraduate degree upon commencement in the program.
Preferred qualifications:
We are looking for passionate, high-performing and motivated students to join our program. You must be in your penultimate or final year of your undergraduate degree in HR, Commerce or related degree to be eligible.
You will have:
• An interest in pursuing a career in the healthcare industry is favourable
• Excellent written and oral communication skills along with initiative and an eagerness to learn
• High attention to detail, rigor and process, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent project management, to manage and prioritise multiple ongoing projects
• Ability to quickly build strong internal & external networks
