2X Freight Handlers

Programmed is seeking 2x freight handlers to assist our client at their warehouse based in Tamworth.
Our client is a specialist in stock and freight distribution with over 55 depots nationwide and a vast international delivery network with a renowned reputation for same day delivery.

About the roles:
We are seeking to fill 1 position with shift hours from 3AM to 7AM The other vacant position is for shift hours from 12AM to 8AM Monday to Friday roster Loading parcels and cartons by hand from conveyor belts into trucks at the Tamworth warehouse, preparing them for drivers to start their deliveries Unloading trucks when drivers get back to the warehouse Manually shrink-wrapping freight Scanning parcels electronically and ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded and up to date Opportunity for ongoing work and skill development for the right candidates About you:
Hold a current driver's licence Forklift licence and experience highly advantageous Maintain a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in a repetitive role, ensuring attention to detail at all times Capable of performing in a physically demanding role, including standing for long periods and some manual lifting required Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and ability to guide and motivate others Experienced in manual handling Possess strong work ethic and attitude towards safety Be willing to complete a criminal history check and complete online inductions Be willing to undertake and pass a D&A test Able to provide 2 current work references If this sounds like you please apply through the advert or go to jobs.programmed.com.au.
