These positions are located in their busy Adelaide, SA office for an initial 12-month contract with possible extensions available.About the PositionsSenior Engineer HydraulicDuties:Provide technical support to the Hydraulic engineering discipline.Deliver high-level technical investigation, design, review, systems development, audit, and advisory services related to all aspects of water and wastewater standards and infrastructure.Put safety above all else and demonstrate safety leadership.Provide support in Hydraulic engineering discipline matters.Collaborate with Principal Engineer to support technical development.Incorporate the 'Safety in Design' process into engineering activities.Provide timely and accurate documentation to customers.Liaise with providers and vendors to ensure smooth project progress.Help develop operational, maintenance, and monitoring strategies.Work effectively within the Hydraulic engineering discipline team.Determine suitability of new and emerging technologies.Requirements/Skills:Extensive hydraulic engineering experience in water and wastewater.Strong safety commitment, incorporating 'Safety in Design'.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Proven project management, including liaising with providers.Relevant tertiary qualifications.Senior Engineer StructuralDuties:Provide expert support for the Civil & Structural Engineering team, including investigations, design, audits, and advisory for water, pipeline, and wastewater infrastructure.Put safety above all else and demonstrate safety leadership.Act as an experienced practitioner in Pipeline discipline.Provide technical leadership on Safety in Design (SiD) matters.Support other technical disciplines by providing civil engineering input.Provide timely and accurate documentation to customers.Seek and initiate value add initiatives.Carry out training/workshop presentations, as required.Work effectively within the Civil & Structural engineering team.Work across multi-disciplinary teams, as needed.Engage and collaborate with partners to meet engineering goals.Requirements/Skills:Tertiary Structural Engineering qualification in Pipeline Engineering.Detailed knowledge of pipeline engineering standards and procedures.Experience in civil works investigation, design, and options analysis.Experience in utilizing, auditing, and developing technical standards.Benefits working with this Client:Opportunity to work with a leading state government agency.Engage in innovative and impactful projects.Potential for contract extensions.Benefits working with Karlka Recruiting Group:Weekly pay.Ongoing support: Pre, during, and post placement.Dedicated consultant per contract.Employee Assistance Program available.Our agency supports Indigenous communities.How to ApplyApply now to be considered for submission to our client by 26/11/2024.Consultant: HaydenEmail for questions only: *******Please apply through this portal.
